Welcome!

Welcome to WychwoodOpenDoor.org, the online home of Wychwood Open Door, a day-time drop-in centre that has served homeless and socially isolated people in Toronto's midtown St. Clair West community since 1986.

Wychwood Open Door operates 8:30am to 3:00pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 12 months of the year.

Donate

As the economy weakened in 2008 and 2009, Wychwood Open Door saw a big increase in demand for its services. Heading into 2010, we are experiencing a 30% increase in demand for our services. In short: the Open Door needs the help of friends and neighbours like you. Please consider donating to the Open Door via CanadaHelps.org. For more information on how to donate, see the Donate page.

If you would like to make an in-kind donation, please contact the Open Door. In-kind items the Open Door always needs include food, dishes, mugs, clothing and your time.

Get Involved

Wychwood Open Door's Fundraising Committee is looking for volunteers. Whether you have a couple of hours to volunteer each week or each month, there is a role for you. Right now the committee is brain storming new ways to raise funds and will soon begin organizing events and promotions that raises Wychwood's profile in the community and raises much-needed funds for this great cause.
